⚡Turning Strategy into Revenue - at Scale⚡
More than a resume. More than a job title.
I’m a husband, father of four, entrepreneur, educator, transformation leader, and lifelong learner born and raised in Southern Indiana. I enjoy solving difficult problems, helping people recognize what is possible, and turning promising ideas into meaningful results.✨
My Story
My entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 17, when my father believed enough in my lofty ambitions to co-sign a $3,000 personal loan for my first business.
His influence on me began long before that. My father retired from Xerox Corporation after an extraordinary 30+ year career in the technology industry. His dedication to teamwork and superior customer service helped shape many of the values and beliefs I carry with me today. Because of his work, I also had the unique opportunity to experience emerging technologies firsthand - often before they became widely available. Those experiences sparked an early curiosity about innovation and what technology could make possible.
I worked my way through college - waiting tables during the week and operating my growing business on the weekends. That experience taught me lessons no textbook could fully capture: earn people’s trust, keep your commitments, treat customers well, and never expect the road to success to be perfectly straight.
Those lessons stayed with me as my career expanded across logistics, healthcare, education, cloud technology, AI, and enterprise transformation. Although the industries and responsibilities changed, the purpose remained consistent: help people and organizations move forward.
The same curiosity continues to drive me today. I love solving complex problems and finding practical ways to use technology to improve how people work, communicate, and live. I'm fascinated by how far technology has progressed, and I'm even more excited about how it will continue to evolve. To me, its greatest promise is not simply what technology can or will do, but how thoughtfully we can use it as a tool to make a meaningful difference for people.
What Matters to Me
Family.
Being a husband and father is the most important leadership responsibility I will ever have. I am especially thankful to my wife, whose love, encouragement, patience, and tremendous support have influenced me for more than 20 years. She has stood beside me through life's successes, challenges, changes, and uncertainties, and I am deeply grateful for the life and family we have built together.
Faith and service.
I believe we are called to use our abilities to help others and strengthen our communities.
Continuous growth.
I remain curious, coachable, and willing to reconsider what I think I know.
Integrity.
Trust is built by doing what you say you will do - especially when it is difficult or inconvenient.
Meaningful results.
Ideas matter, but their true value comes from turning them into improvements people can experience.
The Student and Teacher in Me
Education has always represented more than earning a degree - it is an opportunity to challenge myself, broaden my perspective, and become better equipped to help others.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Indiana University, where I also completed an independent study in crisis management. That early academic experience strengthened my interest in communication, leadership, and how individuals and organizations respond under pressure.
I earned my Master of Arts in Leadership and Management from Webster University's School of Business and Technology, graduating with honors and a perfect 4.0 GPA. Rather than viewing that accomplishment as a finish line, I used it as motivation to continue my education, earning my MBA from the same institution with a 3.8 GPA.
For more than a decade, I taught business, leadership, strategy, project management, international management, human resource management, and related subjects as an adjunct professor.
Teaching strengthened my ability to explain complicated ideas clearly, listen to different perspectives, and help people connect theory with real-world experience.
It also reinforced something I have always believed:
leadership is not about having all the answers. It is about helping others discover and develop their own abilities.
I am deeply grateful for the leaders throughout my life who recognized potential in me, challenged my thinking, shared their wisdom, and demonstrated what true leadership looks like. Their influence shaped many of my decisions and helped form the leader I have worked to become. I hope to honor their impact by offering the same encouragement, guidance, and belief to others.
How I Show Up
I’m naturally curious, approachable, optimistic, and persistent. I ask questions, look beneath the obvious symptoms, and connect details that others may view separately.
When situations are uncertain, I create clarity. When people are disconnected, I build alignment. When a strong strategy is struggling to produce results, I help translate it into practical action.
I take the work seriously - but I don’t believe we need to take ourselves seriously all the time. Humor, humility, and genuine human connection make teams stronger.
Beyond Work
Outside of work, I value time with my wife and children, coaching youth sports, volunteering through my church and community, and having meaningful conversations with interesting people.
Music is also a very important part of my life. I enjoy nearly every genre of music and especially love attending concerts with my wife. I play guitar, trumpet, and several other instruments. I also write and compose original songs and have secured copyrights for many of them. To me, music is a universal language - one that gives me another way to create, tell stories, express ideas, and connect with people.
I’m proud of what I have accomplished professionally, but I’m equally grateful for the friendships, partnerships, and life experiences created along the way.
Closing
I’m still learning, still building, and still excited about what comes next.
If my story resonates with you - or if you are working on something that could benefit from curiosity, clarity, and determined execution - I would enjoy connecting.
